Doggy Days is a family-owned, brand new state-of-the-art dog daycare facility located in Round Lake Beach, IL. We are passionate about your dog and look forward to providing the same care that your dog receives at home, right here in our facility! We envisioned Doggy Days during the COVID-19 pandemic after we saw many new dog owners returning to work and needing a safe and caring place to rely on to take care of their dogs. Our co-owners, Tushar Mehta and Chirag Patel are both pharmacists who work in sterile environments each day, and coincidentally, everything from our floors to walls to ceilings has a unique touch to them that makes them superior to other facilities in terms of cleanliness and being germ-free. Because we are a small business and not a large, corporate-owned franchise like some of the other daycare centers, we are all ears when it comes to feedback from our customers and implementing new ideas that you want to see us offer at Doggy Days. Our experienced staff looks forward to making a personal connection with you and exceeding your expectations on a daily basis. We know that this is a place your dog will look forward to visiting and owners will feel good leaving their dogs with us. We are staffed 24 hours, meaning someone is always with your dog. Thank you for choosing our doggy daycare and we hope to see you again soon!
Staff learn proper handling, signs, and symptoms of illness, dog expressions, and body language.
Snacks are available throughout the day and fresh water is constantly available.
If your dog has separation anxiety we encourage you to bring something that smells like home.

Hello! My name is Chirag Patel. I am a pharmacist by profession, but a dog lover by heart. I have loved animals since I was a little kid and remember going to the pond with my friends to catch tadpoles and watch them grow into frogs. In my free time, I like to spend time with my wife, Shaily, and enjoy watching sports, particularly the NBA. I have two puppies, Max and Raja, who are purebred imported German Shepherds. If you come by our facility, you can meet them!
I am a passionate dog lover. I have lived with many different breeds throughout my life. When I was young I was a Jr handler showing our Dobermans in the AKC obedience ring. I currently have a Doberman/Boxer mix, Duke, and a Rottweiler, Koda. I trained both boys in obedience classes.
Alysa has been working with a menagerie of animals since 2007, and like the rest of us here, is very passionate about the work she does with dogs! She has been training dogs since 2018, and has made it her personal goal to never stop learning new ways to help dogs and expand her knowledge. Alysa prides herself in keeping her clients happy and informed through every step of their training journey together. Currently, she is certified in canine/feline CPR, Certified Professional Animal Care Provider through the PACCC, AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, AKC Temperament Test evaluator, AKC Fit Dog Instructor, and a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.
Alysa has a wide variety of working breed mutts of her own, that are usually at our facility helping her to teach humans and dogs alike. She is a mother of three and enjoys keeping busy with everyone when she is at home! Her free time is spent with her kids and dogs, typically either in the woods or at the beach… Then back home to cuddle up with her big loving family and relax. Dog training has helped her to give her personal dogs a happier, healthier, and more adventurous life with her family.

Hello, my name is Dana and I have been a groomer for 20 + years. As humans, we have been given the responsibility of having dominion over animals. And I don’t use that term lightly, because with that comes patience, discipline and passion. As a Groomer, you have to be able to observe and read a dog / cats body language to not only build trust, but also to ensure their owner that their safety and well-being is your number one priority. I hold myself to a High standard and my work reflects that. The main compliment I have Heard over and over again for the past 20 years in this industry is how clean I get these animals and how great they smell for weeks after. And that’s because in no shops they cut corners in that area for the purpose of profit over quality. My goal is to continue to carry that standard and to pass it down to other potential groomers, so my standard carries on through generations.
